President Obama and Congressional Democrats are creating jobs and turning our economy around. Republicans want to take us back to Bush-era policies. This chart shows what that would mean to American workers.
We are creating high-quality jobs for working and middle class Americans by:
- Cutting taxes for 95% of working Americans;
- Investing in our schools, roads, rail, and other critical infrastructure; and,
- Building an energy plan that cleans up the water we drink and the air we breathe.
Although more needs to be done, our economy is turning around. If the current rate of job creation continues, we will see more jobs created in 2010 alone than during the entire eight years of George W. Bush’s presidency.
