Even on Halloween GOP Can’t Disguise 300 Days of their No Jobs Agenda

Today marks the 300th day House Republicans have spent protecting their jobs in the majority instead of having a jobs agenda for our country. While Republicans want to let the economy suffer for political gain, Democrats have a big, bold, and balanced plan to create jobs and reduce the deficit.

The fourteen million Americans who are out of work through no fault of their own – a neighbor, a friend, or even a family member – can’t wait any longer for Republicans in Congress to act. It’s time to stop putting politics ahead of the nation’s top priority: job creation. Americans can’t afford to wait until the next election to get our country back to work.

Congressional Republicans can keep dressing up their extreme ideological agenda as "jobs bills", but even on Halloween, they’re not fooling anybody. That’s why the American people trust Democrats to create jobs and grow our economy.

It’s time to get American families back to work. Democrats have a plan to create jobs now. And it’s time to act on that plan.
