Questions about how health care reform will help you? We’ve got answers: healthcare.gov
Today, the White House and the Department of Health and Human Services launched HealthCare.gov – the most extensive resource about health care available. Aimed at consumers, the website hosts a wealth of information – including a revolutionary new tool to shop for health insurance.
The health insurance options finder is the first online resource to provide consumers with both public and private health coverage options tailored specifically for their needs in a single, easy-to-use tool. An individual or small business can find thorough, unbiased information and browse all of the plans available to them, based on state, age range, and current insurance status. Starting in October, the site will also list pricing information – making the complicated process of shopping for health insurance easier.
Established through the Affordable Care Act, HealthCare.gov was built from the ground-up to be user-friendly, comprehensive, and jargon-free. Its database includes over 3 billion scenarios, so anyone – a new college graduate, a family who has recently lost insurance, or someone with a pre-existing condition – can find the best health care plan for them.
Take a look and find out how health care reform will help you and your family.
