This morning, Democratic Whip Steny Hoyer and Rep. Chris Van Hollen went to the House Floor to simply ask for a vote on a bipartisan bill that passed the Senate 89 to 10 to extend the payroll tax cut for 160 million American workers and unemployment benefits for 2.3 million people looking for work, and ensure access for 48 million seniors to their doctors.
