House Democratic Leaders on the Sequester Crisis: "No deal, no break."

Washington – Today, House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi (CA-12), Democratic Whip Steny Hoyer (MD-5), Chairman of the House Democratic Caucus Xavier Becerra (CA-34), and Vice Chair Joe Crowley (NY-14) were joined by Ranking Member of the Budget Committee Chris Van Hollen (MD-08), Ranking Member of the Appropriations Committee Nita Lowey (NY-17) and Congressman Steve Israel (NY-3) to discuss House Republicans voting for a 9 day recess without taking action to prevent the budget sequestration crisis set to take effect on March 1.
