Larson Announces New Working Group on American Jobs
Washington, DC -- Tomorrow, Congressman John B. Larson (CT-01), Chairman of the House Democratic Caucus, will host the first meeting of the new Working Group on American Jobs with co-chairs Cong. Betty Sutton (OH-13) and Cong. Alcee Hastings (FL-23). The working group will be focused on bringing new and creative ideas to the table that will create jobs and rebuild the economy with the middle class and working Americans in mind.
“By bringing this working group together we will be sure that voices from across our country are heard as we work to create jobs and grow the economy. The working group will help us bring the best ideas from our Caucus forward as we shape our agenda. Momentum is building within the Democratic Caucus toward new job creation legislation that helps ensure our recovery is not a jobless one,” said Congressman Larson.

Phil Hare (IL-17), Paul Tonko (NY-21), David Loebsack (IA-02), Lloyd Doggett (TX-25), John Sarbanes (MD - 03), Gary Peters (MI-09), Mazie Hirono (HI-02), Judy Chu (CA - 32), Bill Pascrell (NJ-08), Allyson Schwartz (PA-13), Adam Smith (WA-09), Rick Larsen (WA-02), Ben Ray Lujan (NM-03), Mark Schauer (MI-07), Linda Sanchez (CA-39), Anna Eshoo (CA-14) and more are expected to join.
