Larson Statement on Rep. Jerry Costello

WASHINGTON – House Democratic Caucus Chairman John B. Larson (CT) released the following statement today on Rep. Jerry Costello's decision not to run for reelection in 2012:
“This is an enormous loss to the Congress, not only for Illinois, but for his expertise on transportation issues, and most importantly as a moderate, thinking, pragmatic individual who could work across the aisle to get things done.
“But most of all, as a good friend, he will be dearly missed.”
