Larson Statement on Rep. John Olver

WASHINGTON – House Democratic Caucus Chairman John B. Larson (CT) released the following statement today on Rep. John Olver's decision not to run for reelection in 2012:
“John’s decision to retire is a great loss for the Congress but even greater for the region that he has represented so well for so long.
“He is not only an authority on transportation issues, but also a dear friend who will be sorely missed by both his constituents and the entire Congress.
“I wish him and his family nothing but the best with whatever comes next.”
