Larson Statement On Retirement of Bill Livingood

Washington, D.C. — House Democratic Caucus Chairman John Larson (CT) released the following statement on the announcement that House Sergeant at Arms William "Bill" Livingood will retire after 17 years of service:
"What a great guardian and protector of Members of Congress Bill has been. His incredible service to the country, his compassion and understanding of the institution and the Members and staff who serve the public has been unsurpassed.
"Bill is a dear friend and a valued colleague and I wish him and his wife Marilyn much fun and success as they move on to new endeavors. We will all miss him dearly."
