Larson Statement on Veterans Day

HARTFORD, CT – House Democratic Caucus Chairman John B. Larson (CT) released the following statement recognizing Veterans Day today and honoring the service of our men and women in uniform:

“Americans owe our veterans and their families immeasurable thanks for their service to our country. Today, we honor the bravery and valor of our soldiers, sailors, airmen, guardsmen and Marines, past and present. Let us vow to never forget their sacrifices.

“There's an expression on the battlefield saying, ‘Leave no soldier behind’. We must ensure that when our veterans return home that we are taking care of them. Making sure they have access to a good paying job. But most of all remembering to thank them for their service not just today, but every day.”
