Pay Raises in Defense Authorization

Democrats voted to provide a 3.4% pay raise for our troops, strengthen military readiness and expand support for military families. The 2010 National Defense Authorization Act will also provide nearly $2.2 billion for family housing programs and will tend to our troops mental health needs. (Signed into law)
