Solar Technology Roadmap Act
The Solar Technology Roadmap Act of 2010 (H.R. 3585), introduced by Representative Gabrielle Giffords, would take solar research and development in the United States to a new level. The bill would help the Department of Energy allocate research and development funds wisely in order to advance emerging solar technologies quickly and efficiently. This legislation would establish a comprehensive roadmapping process for solar research, development, and demonstration activities which would include input from both the public and private sectors.
