ABOUT THE TASK FORCES
The five Democratic Caucus Jobs For America Task Forces will bring together members in a collaborative setting to share ideas, engage with the American people, discuss policy initiatives, and hear from experts in order to create a jobs-focused legislative agenda that will boost American families and strengthen our economy.

Create opportunities for job growth, boost hardworking families, and give every worker the opportunity to achieve the American dream by developing legislation focused on investing in key industries, restoring worker benefits, removing barriers to help workers find stable and well-paying jobs, helping our veteran communities transition to the workforce, and identifying jobs of the future.

REBUILDING AMERICA TASK FORCE
The Rebuilding America Task Force will put Americans back to work by modernizing our nation’s infrastructure, expanding job opportunities in key industries, launching a school construction boom, updating our power grid and water infrastructure, and taking a visionary approach to the projects needed to put our country at the forefront of innovation.

JOBS WITH DIGNITY TASK FORCE
By restoring the traditional employment benefits enjoyed by previous generations, the Jobs With Dignity Task Force will develop ideas to raise wages and increase profit-sharing, stand up for workers’ rights and benefits, and provide genuine financial and retirement security to all Americans.

ACCESS TO JOBS TASK FORCE
The Access to Jobs Task Force will help workers achieve their full potential by expanding access to capital, encouraging entrepreneurship and small business ownership, increasing educational opportunities – including vocational skills development, professional licensing, and apprenticeship training – and eliminating senseless and outdated social barriers to work that affect many communities.

NEW ECONOMY TASK FORCE
With a rapidly changing economy and new challenges facing American workers, the New Economy Task Force will take a forward-leaning approach to job growth, looking at rapidly advancing technology, artificial intelligence, advanced manufacturing, and ensuring workers are trained for the jobs of tomorrow.

REINVESTING IN OUR RETURNING HEROES TASK FORCE
The Reinvesting in Our Returning Heroes Task Force will build on the strengths of our military and the skills of our returning veterans to grow our economy and create new jobs. The focus will include ensuring the talents our veterans developed while serving can transition into the civilian job market and be harnessed for success.
