DEMOCRATIC CAUCUS CHAIRMAN HAKEEM JEFFRIES ANNOUNCES 2020 ISSUES CONFERENCE

WASHINGTON – Today, House Democratic Caucus Chairman Hakeem Jeffries announced that House Democrats will convene for their annual Issues Conference on April 1-3, 2020. The conference will be held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, home to the founding of our nation and the laws that guide it.

“One year ago, House Democrats set out on a bold mission to create a government of the people, by the people and For The People,” said Caucus Chairman Jeffries. “Together, we have passed 275 bipartisan bills and more than 400 total on behalf of everyday Americans. Keeping to the promises we made in 2018, House Democrats will continue to drive forward our top remaining priorities at this year’s Issues Conference.”

The Democratic Caucus will convene the Issues Conference to reflect on House Democrats’ accomplishments thus far and bring the For The People agenda across the finish line. This year’s agenda will include subject matter experts and other accomplished speakers.
